Laurinda and I are digging out our (ancient and unused) running shoes and training for the British 10K London run in July. This run might not be seem like a huge feat however, I am currently as fit as an asthmatic ant and Laurinda struggles to run for a bus! So in fact our efforts to be fit in time to complete this task (and in a decent time!) for Child Action Nepal - are going to be considerable and quite painful...

    Child Action Nepal is a fantastic charity that has raised money for deprived children since 2002. Set up by an ex Investment Banker, Florence Krief, the charity’s orphanage now houses 20 children. They have continuously worked to provide a caring home, education and healthcare for these kids who otherwise would have been left living as street children or be living in depravity at the ill-run orphanage that she volunteered at – the inspiration for her to spend her life’s savings to build them their own safe home.
