For everyone who has sponsored me, you have my deepest gratitude.  It has been one of the most rewarding activities I've ever engaged in, and I commend the event to those who have even the slightest inclination to take part next year.  As well as the sense of achievement of completing the race itself, there is great scope for creativity, it's actually a lot of fun, you can reawaken old friends who can't resist getting in touch, and much more that I won't bore you with here.
