Story
9th April: Thank you ever so much for your amazing donations. I wasn't sure what target to set at the outset, so to raise 3 x more than I had initially anticipated is great, so thank you!
As the rather unpolished photo suggests, I completed the course - I did it in 4 hours and 28 minutes. Bar just completing my first marathon, I was hoping for sub 4 and a half hours, so am relieved that I did it in the nick of time!
Thank you again for your donations and kind messages.
Kind regards
Jo x

I am raising funds for CANHELP, a cancer charity within Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital in London, following the recent and very untimely death of my colleague Nigel from this terrible disease.
CANHELP provides support that helps Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust stay at the forefront of research and treatment in the fight against cancer, one of the biggest causes of death in the UK. It helps to fund specific radiotherapy and chemotherapy services; helps to improve amenities on wards; helps to buy equipment; supports palliative care and funds research and education. Cancer Services at Guy's and At Thomas' treats over 4,000 new patients each year from across the South East and further afield.
More information about CANHELP is available at: www.gsttcharity.org.uk/fundraising/canhelp.html
PS: Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Guy's and St. Thomas' Charity gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
