Story
Hello,
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My name is Joanne and I am doing a 10,000ft skydive on October 17th 2009 (rescheduled from October 3rd due to weather) to raise money for Willen Hospice. Recently a friend of mine lost their mum who was a patient at Willen Hospice. This is what has inspired me to do this. I have never done anything like this before and I also have a fear of falling so I am very nervous about this, however I wish to do something to raise money and awareness for Willen Hospice.
I really would love to raise at least £1000 for the hospice so please support me and sponsor my skydive, all donations are greatly appreciated.
Please help me in supporting Willen Hospice, and sponsor me what ever you can afford to, every penny counts so even the smallest of donations are greatly appreciated.
Willen Hospice is a charity based in Milton Keynes that provides specialist care for people whose illness no longer responds to curative treatment. Their care focuses in four key areas...
Specialist symptom control
Emotional support
Spiritual support
care for the carers
