Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
I will be running - or perhaps more accurately, crawling - the London Marathon in April this year. 26.2 miles is a long way on your hands and knees, so please show your support, dig deep and sponsor me.
In December 2005 my gorgeous 4 month old niece, Lola-Mae, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. Her passing left her parents, family and friends devastated and I am running in her memory. While any loss is traumatic, sudden infant death concerns the very young who should have their whole life ahead of them.
It is for this reason that I am running on behalf of the cot death charity, Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths (FSID). The money I raise will help fund research into preventing sudden deaths and promoting infant health, while offering much needed support for bereaved families.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths gets your money faster and, if you’re a taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
Please sponsor me now!
Thanks for your support . . . .and money.
