Thank you for visiting this page.
On Sunday 21st May I ran in the BUPA Manchester 10km race along with my wife Sue and son James.
My chosen charity is Hemihelp, which supports people with a condition called hemiplegia. My daughter, Emma, has "right sided" hemiplegia which means she has difficulties using her right arm and leg. Although she needs help with a lot of things, her condition is mild compared to some who can experience quite severe disability and related problems such as epilepsy and behavioural difficulties.
Here is a photo of me with Sue, James and our medals as some sort of proof that I am not making this up! In front of us is Emma who ran in the childrens race the day before. All of us are now just about dried out after getting absolutely drenched in our respective events thanks to the traditional Manchester weather.
Many thanks to those of you who agreed to sponsor me.
