Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

Many of you kindly supported me last year when I ran The Great North Run for the Children's Liver Disease Foundation and I am going to attempt to complete another half marathon this August.

The reason for running for the Children's Liver Disease last year was that my youngest son suffers from a liver disease. Having spent some time at the specialist liver unit in London it was apparent that the facilities in the ward were less than you would expect. Since then King's have launched the Starfish Appeal to raise £2m to upgrade the ward and expand it to 21 beds from the current 11.

ponsor me: King’s College Hospital Charity will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Many thanks for your support.
