We promote the therapeutic value of dogs to improve the lives of Scottish citizens

Story

We are walking the Cotswolds Way, seemingly on our own, and having reached day 4 with some sore legs and lasting memories we have realised the Way is more challenging than we initially thought. For extra motivation to finish we have decided that fundraising for a worthy charity would provide some added motivation for us all. Having debated a number of fantastic causes we have decided to support Canine Concern, a charity that provides therapet services for society. As dog lovers and keen to support the work of this great cause we thought we would help support their work in a small way.

About the charity

Formed in 1988, CCST is an entirely voluntary charity. Its 'Therapet' service involves registered dogs and their owners visiting hospitals, nursing homes, schools and other institutions on a regular basis to provide ‘pet therapy’, restore confidence and bring happiness to everyone they encounter.
