Story

42 members of the C&W Capital Markets UK team successfully managed to cycle from London to Bruges on Thursday 30th April and Friday 1st May.

We left Blackheath at 7.30 am on Thursday morning and followed a route marked by orange triangles up and down the equivalent of 5,100 ft of hills to arrive in Dover 80 miles later at about 4 pm.

The following day was flat and glorious following canals littered with cafes.  We arrived in Bruges mid afternoon on 1st May to be greeted by what seemed to be the whole of the city in party mode as part of the May day celebrations.

We set out to fund the building and equipment for two new classrooms in the school we are building in Tanzania.  We would like to thank you again for your sponsorship and I am delighted to say that we exceeded our personal target.  Our overall team target was £50,000 and we have exceeded this by £10,000 to raise over £60,000 (with the cash still coming in).

Very many thanks again and should you like to know more about the charity then please click here: www.cushwake.com/satw

With many thanks.
