The Great Eastern will be my first Half Marathon and the furthest i've ever run.

I had originally intended to do last years race to raise money in support of Alex Mcguinness, the nephew of a good friend of mine who had been diagnosed with leukaemia. I picked up an injury that meant I wasn't able to take part. In February Alex tragically lost his battle against leukaemia at the age of just 18. This year I would like to honour the pledge I made last year as best I can and support a charity that supported Alex - The East Anglian Childern's Hospice (EACH - http://www.each.org.uk/). This is a charity committed to caring for children with life threatening illness and supporting their families.

Now the part where I beg for your support! My job is to train as hard as I can and do the absolute best I can. Your job is to stump up the readies :)
