The charity I have chosen to raise funds for is the MSRC (Multiple Sclerosis Resource Centre), which provide 24 hour support and counselling to MS sufferers, a condition which has a personal connection for me...

Three years ago I notice that my brother Mark, was struggling to walk the 500 yards from the car park to the shopping centre. Initially, it was thought that this may be due to a trapped nerve in his back, following a fall he had sustained a few weeks earlier. After several tests at the hospital, he was found to be suffering from the early stages of MS. Over the past 2 years his condition has gradually developed, so that he now needs a walking stick to move around, and is moving into a bungelow to aid his lifestyle requirements.

However, throughout this challenging period, he has approached life with the same positive attitude he alwats has had... a lesson for all of us.

On the 13th April, I am taking on the London Marathon for the first time...the event is 26.2 hard miles of running through the capital, and it is my way, with your help, of putting something back. Please support me as much as you can!!!
