Story

Hello my name is Josh and i have NF1 and epilepsy will be taking part in the Glasgow Kiltwalk on the 28th April 2024.

I am doing this to help all my friends at Tumour Support Scotland and to give something back for all the help and support they have give to my friends and family.

What can i tell you about NF1 or in its full name Neurofibromatosis Type 1?

Neurofibromatosis Type 1 (Nf1) is one of the most common but least known genetic conditions, affecting 1 in 3,000 people.

It can cause problems in multiple areas of the human body – the nervous system, skin, eyes, skeleton, endocrine and circulatory systems.

Complications and effects can include braintumours, dermal tumours, optic glioma, scoliosis, Pseuroarthrosis, large plexiform tumours and kidney problems.

You can find more information about this charity by visiting their website https://tumoursupport.scot/.

If you would like to make a donation to my page if would be very grateful as this will help all my friends.

Many Thanks

Josh Kelly
