Story
7 years ago my Dad was diagnosed with a very rare and aggressive brain tumour. During his illness I decided to run the London marathon for the Brain & Spine Foundation to help raise money for research. Heartbreakingly my Dad lost the battle against the tumour and he passed away on the 15th April (3 days before the Marathon).
I ran a teary 26.2 miles and raised a staggering and humbling amount of money. The Charity and the Marathon have always been very close to my heart and conjure up a lot of emotions. This year I’m taking on the marathon challenge again to help raise money in memory of my lovely Dad and get around with a few less tears J.
Please please please sponsor me, money allows research which can save lives. Thank you.
