We help Newcastle Hospitals to improve the patient stay in hospital

Story

Hi there,

Newcastle Hospitals and particularly Newcastle General Childrens intensive care unit do an amazing job. My tiny five week old grandson Jacob Macfarlane was admitted there from Darlington after a Journey with the fantastic team from Newcastle. There was very little hope that he would make the journey on Christmas Eve 2005. He did and then he was looked after by all the staff at Newcastle General and then at The R.V.I until he made a full recovery. His recovery was to my mind a complete miracle and we are all so thankful for this. I believe the staff are amazing as every single person involved in looking after little Jake took the greatest care and gave everything to save him.

I would like to give back to the hospitals and to any other families that find themselves in this situation and need the care of these wonderful people. If I can help raise a small amount ( my target this year is £1000 )then this would go towards helping another  family and that is the very least I can do. I hope you will help me reach this target by December 31st 2006.

POETRY FOR YOU

I would like to offer a personal unique poem for every person who donates to this cause on my page. Of course you can donate without requesting a poem too but if you would like one, I will write and email a poem to you after any donation. Your poem can be on any subject and/or about any person you want it for. Please feel free to email me at junemac1@hotmail.com  if you would like me to write one for you. It may take a week or two (depending on holidays etc ) but I will answer your email first and then get back to you with the finished poem as soon as is possible.

Thank you for visiting and may God bless you,

June
