How it works!

We are offering the chance for you to WIN a beautiful hand knitted patchwork blanket that we (Cady, Grace, Jen and El) will be knitting. 

All you need to do is donate £1 and leave your name to help our cause (Southwark Day Centre for Asylum Seekers) and be in the running to be the lucky recipient of the finished patchwork blanket. £1 is a minimum amount to donate. Please leave your name when you make a donate if you would like to be entered into the raffle. We will randomly pick one name once the blanket is completed and will announce the winner on our Facebook page, JustGiving page and through the Day Centres.

Having realised a shared love of knitting (or desire to learn how to knit) when starting our Social Work MA course together we decided to put this skill to good use and begin a joint project. When you donate, you will not only be supporting local asylum seekers but also be helping four future social workers maintain their sanity throughout their course!!
