Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In October 2018 our grandson, George was born very suddenly 8 weeks early at the Royal Derby Hospital. He was taken straight to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit where he remained for the first 2 weeks of his life before transferring to Peterborough to be nearer home. The staff in the unit were amazing and gave him the best care possible as well as providing support to his parents. The Friends of the Baby Unit work tirelessly and independently from the NHS to raise money to buy life saving equipment for the sick and premature babies being cared for by the unit. Therefore, for my 50th birthday, I have decided that instead of presents, if anyone would like to give a donation to this amazing charity, I would be really grateful. Many thanks.
