Story
Woo hoo! I did it! my time was 3 hrs 57 mins 44 secs so I got my sub 4 hr goal and am really pleased with how it went. The crowds were amazing and it was humbling to be part of such a great event - thanks to all of you who stoically braved the drizzle on the day to cheer me on, it made my race!

I am genuinely overwhelmed with the generosity that has been shown by all of you who have supported me in this challenge. You stormed through my initial target of £1500, so I increased it to £5,000, but you didn't stop there so I doubled it to £10,000 and now you've gone and smashed that one too. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

In running the London Marathon, I hope to raise as much money as possible for Parkinson's Disease Society. As you may know, Parkinson's disease is a progressive, neurological condition that affects movements such as walking, talking and writing. This fantastic charity is dedicated to supporting all people living with Parkinson's disease and also funds major research into finding treatments and ultimately a cure.
Please dig deep and sponsor me online to give hope to sufferers and their families, who like my own, have been affected by this debilitating condition. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Parkinson's Disease Society will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
Many thanks for your support.
