Story
On the 8th May I am running the Fellsman race, a 61 mile non-stop fell race in memory of Emma Askey who sadly passed away on the 23rd Sept 2009, just 10 days short of her 4th birthday.
Her memory is spurring me on to run this 61 mile race, so please spur yourself to sponsor me. For those who do not know about Emma Askey's battle with cancer. Emma was my Friend's Sam and Phil's young, brave, beautiful daughter. When Emma was only 2 1/2 years old she was diagnosed with high risk stage 4 neuroblastoma in May 2008. Following a year of intensive chemotherapy, radiotherapy and bone marrow replacement. Emma suffer a relapse of the cancer in June 2009 and confirmed that following a relapse of neuroblastoma was not possible to control the cancer, Emma sadly passed away on the 23rd Sept 2009. By giving to this worthy cause Emma's brave legacy can live on and ensure others that other Children suffering from cancer & critical illnesses are supported through their time of need, so please dig deep and donate now.
