Recently a friend and colleague has had to start kidney dialysis due to an inherited kidney disease. Hopefully he will soon get the kidney transplant he needs. I have decided to raise money for Kidney Research UK in the hope that research will help those with this condition and that they need not go through this in the future.

The triathlon is the olymipic distance held on 10th August and the distances are 1.5k swim (~1 mile), 40k bike and 10k run.

At a meeting recently I pledged to do this within 3 hrs (and with two weeks to go, now wish I hadn't been so optimistic!!)

Please help to raise as much money as possible (I will earn it!)

I promise to let you know how I get on and share the inevitably flattering photos!
