Helen and Katie will be running the London Marathon on 24 April 2016 to raise money for the Martlets Hospice.

The Martlets provides compassionate and essential end of life care. Everyone should be entitled to a dignified and peaceful end to their lives, but the Martlets, like many hospices, is not part of the NHS and receives only a third of its funding from the government. Last year the Martlets had to raise £4.8 million in donations in order to continue to provide its amazing services.

As some of you may know, the Martlets provided Katie's father with end of life care in 2015, as well as providing their family with incredible support during a very difficult time.

We would like to give something back so that they can continue to provide their services to the people and families who need them.
