Story

Hi

Thanks for visiting our page. Here's what we going to be doing on Saturday 26th July...

About 20 colleagues from London Rail will be kayaking the 34 miles of the Thames from Teddington Lock to the Thames Barrier, expecting to take about 10 hours as we fight the tides.  Most of us have never been in a kayak before and didn't know a paddle from a puddle!  I'm sure we will become more aquainted with both as we prepare for this scary challenge and learn how to contend with what the Thames will throw at us from dinghies to battleships!!!

The money we raise for the Shadwell Basin Project, our partners in this endevour, will provide some much needed equipment to enable them to improve the opportunities they are able to provide to the poor and disadvantaged children in the local communities.

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor us online.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: E L M V Shadwell Basin Project will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support.
