You may have heard of John Lewis and Barry Hawgood, who are currently travelling through Pakistan in a Hillman Hunter, en route to Sydney from London to raise money for the Prostate Cancer Charity.  They left London on 27th March, camping along the way and will return to the UK sometime mid July.

 

John and Barry started their fund raising two years ago, and have already handed over £30,000 to the Prostate Cancer charity.  They are aiming to raise £75,000 and we at KB want to help with this.

 

We thought a 30 mile bike ride around Newbury would be something challenging yet achievable for us.  Our event is on 5th June 2010. 

 

Thank you for kindly supporting us in raising money for this very worthwhile cause, prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men, 35,000 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer every year and sadly one man dies from prostate cancer every hour, that is 10,000 men each year in the UK.
