Hi my name is Kevin Stanton i live in Leicester and i was born in 1963, the same year the Gettaway Club (Mencap) was founded as like me its abit old and rickety but there's still lots of life left in us. 

I believe this is a very essential part of nottinghamshire county for the benefit of adults with learning disabilities which otherwise would not be able to socialize in an activity centre with their peers. 

It caters for 140 service users every week and gives them a sense of belonging, stability, trusting and friendships.

I am a 54 year old man undertaking a 100 mile bike ride that my mind believes i can do (eazypeezy) but like computers my bodies saying no!
