In September, four teams from my office are embarking on a relay race from Lands' End to John O'Groats (the longest distance - 874 miles - between two points on the ).  We aim to complete the distance in a little over two weeks with a combination of running, walking, cycling and canoeing.

I am raising money for the Dame Vera Lynn Trust for Children with Cerebral Palsy, an organisation that has provided tremendous support for my amazing niece, Millie.  My aim is to raise £2500.

My leg is cycling 176 miles in two days from to Whitchurch in two days.  Not impossible, but should certainly be a challenge for someone who's longest previous cycle distance was 25 miles!
