Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On Saturday May 4th 2013 I (along with some family friends) will be completing a charity firewalk, and would like to ask for your support to raise money for a list of charities.
I am taking on this challenge for two reasons
1) To raise money for a list of very deserving charities
2) To challenge myself to completing a fire walk. It could be a very scary experience (especially with my clutsy-ness), but life is boring if you dont challenge yourself isnt it!
So please dig deep and help me raise as much money as possible for the good causes;
Example charities that the fundraising will donated to include;
Supporting Vulnerable people: Help for heroes, Dogs for the disabled, Rainbow Trust Children’s Society, Sense, Dementia UK,
Young Minds (mental health), I CAN (supporting children who struggle with speech and language skills), Combat Stress ( supporting ex-service personal to overcome mental health problems)
Youth Opportunities: Barnardo’s, Tomorrows People, Princes Trust, Depaul UK ( Youth homelessness prevention)
Medical Research: Autisitica, Cancer Research, Diabetes UK
Other Grants: Air Ambulance, Hospice services,
Emergency disaster funds: Flooding in West Wales, Flooding in Fiji, Flooding and Landslides in the Philippines
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.
