Story

Please sponsor us and help us raise much needed money for palliative care in Africa.

We all take it for granted, but if you were dying wouldn't you want access to pain control, support and even a mattress to rest on and a blanket to cover you?

Not much to ask really... but many people in Africa don't have any of that. APCA are doing something about this and you can too. We are walking so you can sponsor us.

Go on... you know you want to.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So please dig deep and donate now.

About the charity

The African Palliative Care Association (APCA) works with healthcare providers throughout Africa to relieve the pain and suffering of people with terminal illnesses. By improving palliative care provision APCA helps transform the lives of many men, women and children suffering as a result diseases such as AIDS and cancer. Our mission is to ensure every patient receives the care they need to lead a full life and, when the time comes, to have a pain free and dignified death.
