I'm going to be hauling myself around the BUPA Great North Run this year for the first time. I am not a runner in any shape or form. In fact i would go as far as to say i absolutely HATE it.

But the thing is ... i have always wanted to do two things since moving to the North East. The first was to raise money for St Oswalds. A hospice that does so much good work for people across the North East.

And the second thing i've always wanted to do was the Great North Run. It's such an amazing event and if i manage to complete the challenge then i will be really happy that i've managed to help some people along the way.

I'm also doing this so my two beautiful boys can be proud of me when they see the photos when they grow up. I plan to carry them both over the finish line (God willing).

So please sponsor me for whatever you are able to afford. Every penny counts and it will spur me along the way.
