Firstly many thanks for visiting the page, to many the Triathlon is just a swim followed by a nice ride on the bike and a run of sorts to finish......The Hellvellyn Triathlon is somewhat diferent, I feel that you should get your monies worth out of me and believe me you will! This event is carried out in the Lake District with the swim 1 mile being in Ullswater and the Bike ride being a circumnavigation of the Lake District taking in many climbs and finally the "Struggle" to the top of Kirkstone Pass and then down to the finish some 38 miles done. Then we move onto the "run", I say "run"  tongue in cheek as it is to the summit of Hellvellyn  via Swirral Edge and back again. The training is going well with the summer approaching in the Middle East and the cycling will be done mostly in 45 degree plus heat as well as running and the swimming will be done of course with sunblock, so if not drowned I will be roasted.

Remember it is all "FOR THE KIDS" everybody deserves a chance and if we can all help in some way all the better so get your cards out and please donate whatever you can.
