Story

Now here's the deal, you can sponsor me for this monumentally difficult event and I'll be giving 100% in training, preparation and on the day. For the first time I've ever entered an event where I'm not certain I'll be able to finish - it really is that difficult.

Here's some of the blurb from the organisers for the 2009 inaugural event: "In the outset the organisers were only expecting a smattering of entries, a 100 riders at best, expecting just 20 to finish and perhaps maybe just one death along the way.  In fact, 200 started, 130 finished, and nobody died."

So please sponsor me just for putting the effort in to get there, never mind finishing.  More on the event here: http://www.kielder100.com

Little Havens is the chosen charity of the SELOC Lotus club. If I'm not on my bike you find me in my Lotus. More on SELOC here: http://www.seloc.org

So please dig deep and donate now, and I'll feel the pain on your behalf for each of those 100 off-road miles :)

By the way, donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
