Day 3, trudged to camp 3 at 3950 metres. Landscape more lunar in appearance. Best campsite yet, very isolated and exposed with clear views of Mother Africa. Apart from the odd bleeding noses and mild AMS headaches all are doing well. Due to make another acclimatisation trip to 4200 metres before returning to camp 3 for the night.

Second day of our climb. Finding it very slow going and they are feeding us ridiculous amounts. We are being told this is to reserve our energy for the final 2 days climb. Peace out.

Landed this morning, missed our bus, hired a car to chase the bus down. Bus trip was a hair raising 6 hour bone crusher with a 2 hour mind numbing immigration stop. Arrived in Arusha at the foot of Kili very relaxed and ready for a meal. Sipping passion fruit fanta!
