Story

Thanks for clicking the link.  One down - one to go...

...KILIARATHON becomes just  ...ARATHON

After the bells chimed at midnight at -15 degrees (and one final vomit) we exhaustingly trudged up and up and up reaching the peak of Mount Kilimanjaro at 8.15am on 1st Jan 2009!

It took five days walking towards the distant summit in amazing bright blue skies, camping at -10 degrees, 3 projectile vomits, peeing under the night stars (I claimed champion wee’er with the record of 7 in one night), loss of appetite, one quick dash of water under the armpits and the delights of over-used latrines!

Thank you all so much for your generous donations and support so far.  The training now begins for the second half of the challenge - the London Marathon 09. Both attempts are to raise money and awareness for the charity Sparks. I realise times are hard at present, so anything you are able to give will be gratefully appreciated.

Thank you
Rosina x
