Story
Dear all,
Leukaemia, also known as blood cancer, is the worst child killer disease. It is the most common cancer in children, accounting for about a third of all cases. Although it affects adults as well and all age groups are concerned, it seems to be most lethal for 2- to 14-year-olds.
The only way of combating this silent killer is to advance sufficiently in research and understanding of what causes the disease and how to best tackle it.
In this respect, we have decided to dedicate our climb of Kilimanjaro to raising awareness of Leukaemia, as well as to raising some funds for research.
Donating through this web page is the fastest, easiest and most secure way of helping us raise money for The Leukaemia Research Fund.
Please be generous! Any amount helps us make a difference!
If you are a UK taxpayer, this site makes sure that 25% in Gift Aid plus a 3% supplement are added to your donation.
