Having had another moment of madness I think probably after a good short run on a dry warmish day I decided to sign up for the first Scotland Kilomathon which kicks off from the Royal Highland Showground on Sunday 3^rd October.  It’s a 26.2 kilometre run, crossing the forth road bridge and seeing the sites of before returning back to the Royal Highland Showground.  I am running to help support a group of students from West Calder and James Young High Schools make a trip to Peru next summer to support the Vine Trust in their fantastic work.

As you can see I survived the Glasgow Half Marathon on 5th Sept just 3 miles to add on for this one, its a shame I have to do the 13 miles first though!

While there, the students will be helping with building work to provide homes for street children and will be working directly with the children who are supported in these homes after living for some time on the steet.
