Less than 2 weeks now. Last long run done - completed 18 miles at the weekend with Kristin...that is a long way?!...but we managed it in under 3 hours.

There are now only 11 days left of running, eating carbs and not drinking alcohol.....but who's counting?! Thank you again for your sponsorship to date, the support of my friends and family plays a major part in my positive preparation and, hopefully, my completion of this marathon. Every pound counts for my chosen charity so if you havent sponsored me yet then please dig deep. I will work hard for the money in two weeks I promise! xx

4 weeks to go, getting quite scared now and missing my wine! (not that I have given it up totally mind you!) Myself and some of my fellow marathon runners; Kristin, Faye and Jade, completed the Adidas Half Marathon at Silverstone last week - I finished in 2 hrs 2 mins. Really pleased with that but scared about the prospect of doing that twice?! Planning on doing 15 miles this weekend so will post how I get on. Less than 7 weeks til the Marathon. Been training while I should be relaxing - on holiday in Australia and have run some lovely beaches - beats round the lake at St Michaels Mead!! Back home today to prepare for our half marathon. Get readyf Kate - we need to step it up a gear! Thank you to everyone who has spnsored me so far x

Every year I have watched the marathon and thought 'next year Im going to do that' - I have eventually got round to it! Training is going well and Im actually looking forward to the big day....although if anyone else tells me what a good day out it is when you go up and watch, have a fry up, sit in pubs all day etc etc I might just be swayed to be a supporter instead!
