Story
In August and September I will be walking 156km.
My first walk will be August 23rd when I walk 56km around the Isle of Wight.
My next challenge is only 3 weeks later when I walk 100km along the Thames Path.
Not to mention, that this year alone, I have already walked 145km. (44km from Crawley to Brighton on the London to Brighton Challenge in May and 101km along the Grand Union Canal from Paddington to Bletchley in June.)
I was a volunteer for the first walk from Crawley to Brighton and was self-funded for the Grand Union Challenge.
In July of this year, I was on the train when I met one of the cat fosters. We spoke a little about the charity and I became quite intrigued. When I got home, I did more research and realized what a lovely local charity this is. And being a huge animal lover, I decided that I wanted my next two walks would support this wonderful charity.
