I hate running!!  Yup, that won't come as a surprise to most of you, but the reason for doing this run was a great opportunity to raise money for the charity of which I am a trustee: Intercountry Adoption Centre (IAC)and the training helped me fit into my bridesmaid's dress for my best friend's wedding!!

Intercountry Adoption Centre (IAC) is a charity very close to my own heart. As most of you are aware, I was adopted from Chile when I was 6 months old.  The picture opposite is of me with Tata Lucco, the man who actually found me in the orphanage. I have always been proud to be adopted and that is one of the reasons I got involved with IAC. It is a charity which advises and prepares propspective parents who are adopting from overseas.  It also supports adoptees who may need help finding birth parents or just need support in their everyday lives.
