Story

As I was lucky enough to get a place in the the Flora London Marathon, I wanted to use the opportunity to raise money for the Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU) that helped care for my first son who was born 7 weeks early.  This is one of the two SCBU units I am raising money for the other is Wexham Park  http://www.justgiving.com/kulvinder_does_london2009_wexham

SCBU provides round the clock care and attention for babies that are premature or experience difficulty during childbirth. My son who was tiny, spent 4 weeks at Pembury Hospital's SCBU who provided an excellent standard of care and commitment to both my new baby and my wife.

He is now a fit and healthy nine year old and I would like to show my appreciation by raising funds for them to put towards additional life saving equipment.

Please feel free to donate as much or as little as you see fit and if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation. The money will go into the NHS charity but will be directed to the SCBU at Pembury Hospital, in Tunbridge Wells.

Kind regards!

Kulvinder
