Story

Get into the festive spirit and help the Kent Youth League raise funds for those who need it most thisChristmas period.

On Sunday 15th December, we are asking all our clubs to support our #KYLChristmas efforts to fundraise for our Charity Partner, Redthread.

It’s a simple, festive ask.

We’d like to encourage all teams to come together on our final official game before the Christmas break, to enjoy post-match hospitality alongside each other – and most importantly – wearing their best Christmas jumpers!

Not only is this a chance to bring players, coaches, volunteers and clubs together at Christmas, we will be offering a prize* to the two teams who share the best and most creative photo with us either on our Twitter or Instagram page using the hashtag #KYLChristmas.

All teams and their respective coaches, players and parents will be asked to consider donating a £1 to the initiative with every penny going to Redthread, a charity supporting young people to be healthy, safe and happy through work in A&Es and primary care.

It’s an important cause – and one the League will be supporting throughout the season - but with Christmas approaching, we have
further cause to demonstrate that support to Redthread during a challenging time of year.

Those taking part in #KYLChristmas will be able to donate to our Christmas campaign on this page.
