I am volunteering to lead a 3 month expedition in Costa Rica with Raleigh International www.raleighinternational.org  They are a registered charity that helps young people from all backgrounds and nationalities including those disadvantaged or "at risk" to develop new skills, friendships and volunteer to make a genuine difference to communities and environments in developing countries across the world.
In Costa Rica & Nicaragua the projects include building schools and community centres, setting up clean water feeds for families in poor and remote villages and turtle conservation. The expedition starts in January and I have to fundraise £1950 towards the running of the expedition.
I thought what better way to do it than to perform with some fab musicians and entertain you all with some great soul and disco classics and a couple of my own tunes! So, save the date - Sunday 5th December at the Lockside Lounge, 75-78 Upper Walkway, West Yard, Camden Lock Place, Camden NW1 8AF from 7.30pm – in conjunction with the Spredluv collective.
