Story

Hello all!!

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. I am sure most of you are aware about how the Justgiving site works, but for those of you who aren't and as a reminder for others:

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Headway - the brain injury association gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

As you can see I am running for Headway which, as some of you may be aware, is a charity which has supported my family in the past. 18 and a half years ago my dad had a car accident and suffered a brain injury as a result. Headway provided support for my dad and also our family as a whole. My dad has made a remarkable recovery from the accident and although a lot of his recovery is down to his determination and the strength and support provided by my mum and family and friends I wouldn't like to imagine how things would have turned out without Headway's involvement.

I am sure you agree it is a very worthwhile cause. Any sponsorship you can give would be hugely appreciated.

Many thanks x
