Story
Many thanks for visiting my Suzy Lamplugh Trust fundraising page.
Along with a group of friends from the 'Harry Banana Motorcycle Club' I am going to be attempting to ride my Harley Davidson 1000 miles in 24 hours, in France, during the weekend of 22/23 September 2007.
As Chairman of the Suzy Lamplugh Trust I see at first hand the very important work they do to help people to avoid violence, aggression and conflict and to live safer lives. From educating our children about safe people and safe places, to supporting companies to look after the well-being of their staff. With very little funding from government, raising funds through this kind of event is vital for us. So please dig deep and sponsor me online.
To give you and idea of what your support could help the charity to achieve, here are some examples: £30 could provide 5 individuals with a personal attack alarm; £150 could give up to 150 schoolchildren access to a personal safety session, giving them essential life skills; and £250 could provide 500 people with a vital safety guidance booklet, giving them a basic understanding of how to keep themselves safe.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me. The Suzy Lamplugh Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
Finally, there's a reception at the Regents Park Holiday Inn at 6.30pm on Monday 24 September - eats, drinks, comedienne Jo Brand - and 'Returning Harleys'!!
If you're able to come to the reception, please email my PA, Laura Parks:
and she'll email you a booking form.
Many thanks for your support!
