Hello all

Some of you may already know but for those who don't I would like to inform you that I have entered The London Duathlon ... This is held on Sunday 14th September at Richmond Park and will be the first time I have challenged myself to something like this !!! I'm constantly excersising 6 days a week but today I started my 10 week training programme specific to running a duathlon ... very daunting !!

Some of you have asked what's involved ... basically it starts with a 5k run then 10k bike ride then back out for a further 5k run. I have chose this distance as it is my first one but hope this will be the start of many :-)

I want to be very proud of myself when and I mean WHEN I cross the finishing line and hope as many of you as possible can join me ... the other side of the line of course .. :-) he he
