Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page for the Sick Kids Hospital in Edinburgh.
On the 18th and 19th September I took part in the Nokia Coast to Coast Challenge crossing Scotland on foot, bike and canoe. The challenge started in Nairn and finished 109 miles away in Glencoe. It took me 16hours total and rained all the way but all in a good cause so worth the pain!
Why am I doing this?
I am raising money for The Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Edinburgh where my daughter, Isla, was treated after she suddenly became very ill at the age of one. She has just turned thirteen and is a healthy teenager!
I also took part in the challenge in memory of my sister in law, Emma Louise Maclennan, who tragically died after a car accident in October 2009. Emma was a dedicated nurse at The Sick Kids Hospital.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
I would be grateful for any donations. Thank you.
