Job done, we all completed the 100km run in 15 hrs 26 mins. slightly over target but happy to have finished it, had a few injury's and a lot of laughs along the way!
Ok so we (3 BMF instructors and a mate from the Aussie Army) have decided to take part in Trailwalker 2010. It is a 100km trek over the south downs with the goal to complete it in under 30 hours, but we have decided to run it instead and are aiming to do it in under 15 hours.
THIS IS NOT A RELAY!!!
We will each be running the 100km, so very sore legs and anyone willing to give us massages the week after would be much appreciated :P
Lou, Esther and Nigel from BMF HQ will be in support with the BMF events rover to meet us at each check point and help patch up our feet and offer massages???
The money we raise will be going to oxfam and the Gurkha welfare trust, which takes care of Gurkhas if they retire and have no pension or the widows if the die. Both really good causes.
Anything you can give will be greatly appreciated.
And if you want to get involved in any other way, ie help out as support to our team, or one of the other teams from BMF that we have put together then feel free to get in touch on facebook.
Thanks again
Logan, Rich, Dan and Michael
