We fund research into type 1 diabetes to find a cure for type 1 diabetes

Story

Thank you for your interest in the Lifescan Scotland Bikeathon fundraising campaign for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF)

If you are taking part in the challenge and would like people to sponsor you, you can create your own fundraising page here

For the first time ever, all Johnson & Johnson sites across the UK are joining forces to raise funds for JDRF. By working together, we can make a huge impact and Johnson & Johnson will match every penny raised. The Johnson & Johnson Bikeathon UK event kicks off week commencing 8th November and LifeScan Scotland employees will be cycling 24/7 over a shift change on 9th and 10th November. Together, we will complete as many tours of the UK as we can, visiting each of our nine sites on the way - a complete round trip is a total of 1430 miles/2300 km. With the shortest time slot being only 15 minutes, just about anyone can do this, regardless of your level of fitness. There are opportunities to win individual and team prizes as well as a site prize.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
