We've conquered the 10k, but that obviously wasn't enough for us, so myself and my sister are running the Great North Run to raise money for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research.

We've never run a half marathon before, and the thought of it being twice as bad as a 10k makes me feel slightly sick, however it's for a really good cause, and the money we can raise will make all the blood, sweat and tears worth while.

Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research is the only UK charity dedicated to finding better treatments and cures for all blood cancers, including leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma. For their life-saving work to continue they need to raise over £20 million every year.

Please please dig deep and sponsor us! Your money will make such a difference to so many cancer sufferers, both children and adults, and will also spur us on to finish the race!
