ok everyone I have done it!!! I have lost 28lbs (2 stone) from jan 4th to july 4th.  May I thank every one that has been supporting me both on and off line.  I will update the money raised when I collected it in.  Mum is currently been given the 'all clear' after months of chemo and ratiation therapy under Christies.  We all all delighted with her progress and grateful toe Christies!

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am aiming to raise money for Christies hospital by doing a sponcored slim.  My aim is to lose 2 stone (28lbs) in weight in the next 6 months.  You could donate on a pound by pound basis as I will update my video once a month with what I have lost, or you could gamble on me losing the whole 2 stone and promise to donate then (or possibly double your donation etc)

In recent years I have been involved with 3 close relatives that have needed treatment at Christies.  The first was my brother in law Bernard who died of Liver Cancer 10 years ago.  He was only 50, he never smoked in his life and never drank to excess.  The next was my father in law Alf who died of Lung Cancer in 2008.  And lastly there is my mum Barbara who is currently battling Lymphoma.  She is undergoing chemo therapy and is thankfully doing extreemly well!

All I think is that if so many of us suffer cancer at some point in our lives then lets help make Christies the best specialist hospital in the world!!
