Well, we did it and had  fantastic time in the process!
The scenery was fantastic, tropical jungle ,grand waterfalls, cold pools to swim in and at the end, a gorgeous sandy beach and a warm sea!
Some long days, some steep climbs, but such a great group, so supportive in every way, that the whole experience was rejuvenating rather than exhausting.
Cuba was as exciting as hoped; Havana was intense, the people were great, and the country is such a radically different place to visit, we felt really priviledged to see so much of it.
Thank you so much to all who sponsored me and who supported Karen and my fundraising; we found out even more about the great work Breast Cancer Care do, and the ongoing need for it...so far we raised about £56K from the group as a whole, so a huge thank you for your part in that.
Thanks too, to Karen, who was tremendous throughout and whose experience sparked this whole adventure off for us...
