Well I did it.... 3hrs 48mins. Running this years 2009 Flora London Marathon to raise funds for Diabetes UK,  has got to be the biggest personal acheivement I have ever completed. What a day, the crowds were superb willing me to get to the finish, without the crowds support I wouldnt have dipped under 4 hours, the last 4 miles hurt a lot...

As most of you are aware, or for those that are not, we lost our lovely Lisa to Diabetes in 2004.  My mother and the late great Betty Badham (who sadly passed away on 30th Jan 2009) also have/had diabetes. A s such this charity is very close to my heart and I am delighted we raised such a huge amount to help people with this condition.

My heartfelt thanks goes to everyone who sponsored me online through this website and those listed below who kindly donated cash and signed my sponsor forms.
