HSBC North East Region have devised a task to raise £200k+ for 7 amazing children's charities through different events. One event is a 100mile walk, which will be completed by small groups of staff in September.

One charity in particular, very close to my heart, is Martin House Hospice. Martin House ensure hundreds of families with disabled children have all the love, care and support they need.

My family in particular have experienced the fantastic facilities that Martin House have to offer over the last 18 years through the care of my disabled sister Emma. Martin House have truly been there for so many families through their most memorable, and most difficult times offering guidance, support and even a cuddle when it's most needed.

Your donations will help me, help Martin House and the other wonderful charities continue to give seriously ill and disabled children the love they deserve.

Martin House will always feel like a home from home and it really is time for me to give something back.
